These terms are an agreement between you and Ken Omolayo, trading as Globally ("Globally", "we", "us"), which operates this website and app. By using the service, booking an appointment or registering as a stylist, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
The service
Globally is a booking platform that connects customers with independent barbers, hairdressers, braiders and makeup artists ("stylists") for appointments at homes, salons and events. You must be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian's permission, and give accurate details when you book or register. Stylists are responsible for the quality and safety of the services they provide.
Payments
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund terms are set out in Paddle's Buyer Terms. See also our Refund Policy.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service, including:
- using it for anything unlawful, fraudulent or harmful;
- sending spam or making fake bookings, reviews or registrations;
- infringing anyone's intellectual property or privacy, including uploading photos you have no right to use;
- interfering with security — for example malware, probing, scraping or overloading our systems.
Intellectual property
Globally owns the service and its software, design, content and branding. You may use it only for its intended purpose. Stylists keep ownership of the photos they upload and give us permission to display them on the platform.
Availability
We work to keep the service running, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that a stylist will always be available at a given time or place.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close access for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, non-payment, fraud or security risk, or other serious policy violations.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.
